JNV Selection Test for admission to Class 6 for the 2025-26 academic session will be conducted in two phases. The first exam is scheduled for April 12, 2025, at 11:30 AM, while the second exam will take place on January 18, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Both exams will last two hours, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and will consist of 80 objective-type questions across three sections, with a total of 100 marks. Eligibility Criteria
- District-Specific Admission: Applicants must seek admission to the JNV in the district where they completed Class V.
- Age Requirement: Students must be born between 1st May 2013 and 31st July 2015 (inclusive of both dates).
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed Classes III, IV, and V in a Government or Government-aided school.
- Rural Quota: A minimum of 75% of the seats are reserved for students from rural areas within the district.

The JNVST exam will be conducted over two hours and will include a total of 80 questions, divided into three sections. The Mental Ability Test (MAT) consists of 40 questions worth 50 marks, to be completed in 60 minutes. The Arithmetic Test has 20 questions, carrying 25 marks, with a time limit of 30 minutes. Similarly, the Language Test also comprises 20 questions, worth 25 marks, to be completed in 30 minutes. Differently-abled students will receive an additional 40 minutes to complete the exam.
