SSC Recruitment 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a recruitment notification for the Young Professional (Legal Consultant) post. Applications are invited from eligible candidates law graduates for the engagement of 01 (One) Young Professional (Legal Consultant) purely on short-term contract basis in the Staff Selection Commission (Western Region), Regional Office, Mumbai. Candidates finally selected for the Young Professional positions will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹60,000.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post within 15 days from the date of issue of this Circular, i.e., latest by 03 January 2025. The initial term of engagement for the Young Professional (Legal Consultant) will be one year, with the possibility of extension on a case-to-case basis.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) or any other equivalent law school or college in the country, with a minimum of 60% marks.
Experience, Age and Remuneration

Desirable Experience
The candidate must have one year of experience in drafting legal documents & scrutiny and recruitment matters, especially related to the preparation of the notice of exam, the conduct of the exam, evaluation of answer books, results of recruitment, medical examination cases of candidates; drafting of contract agreements; experience in handling CAT matters, etc.
In case the contract is extended by another year based on a satisfactory performance review, the remuneration of Young Professional may be increased by up to 5% of the remuneration.
However, in no case, the remuneration of any Young Professional shall exceed 1.25 times of the initial remuneration.
