Eligibility Criteria for SBI SCO Recruitment 2024
- Assistant Manager (Civil Engineer): A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institution is required.
- Assistant Manager (Electrical Engineer): A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution is mandatory.
- Assistant Manager (Fire Engineer): Candidates must have a B.E. (Fire) degree from the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur, or a B.E./B.Tech in Safety & Fire Engineering.
Additionally, for this role, a minimum of three years of experience is required in one of the following positions:
- Station Officer or equivalent in a City or State Fire Brigade.
- In-Charge Fire Officer in corporate or large industrial complexes.
- Fire Officers in State Government Institutions or PSUs.
Eligible qualifications include:
- B.E. or B.Tech. (Fire Technology & Safety Engineering) or an equivalent four-year degree in Fire Safety from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved institution.
- Graduate of the Institution of Fire Engineers (India/UK).
- Completion of the Divisional Officers Course from NFSC, Nagpur.

Selection Process and Exam Details
- For all posts: Selection will involve an online written test followed by an interaction.
- Assistant Manager (Engineer-Fire): Candidates will be shortlisted based on their application and invited for an interaction.
The online written test is tentatively scheduled for January 2025. Call letters for the test will be made available on the Bank’s official website and will also be communicated to candidates via SMS and email.
The examination will consist of two sections:
- General Aptitude (90 minutes)
- Professional Knowledge (45 minutes)
There will be no negative marks for wrong answers in the online written test.
The final merit list will be determined by aggregating marks from the Professional Knowledge test (100 marks) and the interview (25 marks), with a weightage of 70:30 respectively.
