NMDC Eligibility Criteria 2024

To qualify for the executive vacancies, the eligibility criteria vary based on the discipline the candidate is applying for:

• Commercial Posts: A degree in Engineering or a graduate degree from a recognized university, along with an MBA or PG Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Foreign Trade, or Sales Management. Alternatively, a graduate degree with CA or ICMA qualifications is acceptable.
• Environment Posts: A degree in Civil, Chemical, Mining, or Environmental Engineering, or a PG Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, or Botany. Candidates can also qualify with a PG Degree or Diploma in Environmental Management (2 years duration) or a Doctorate in Environmental Studies/Impact Assessment from a recognized university or institute.
• Geo & QC Posts: An M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech.), or M.Tech in Geology from a recognized university or institute.
• Survey Posts: A three-year Diploma in Mining or a Diploma in Mines and Mine Surveying from a recognized university or institute, along with a Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency under MMR. A minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field is required.
• Chemical Posts: An M.Sc. in Chemistry or a degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Civil Posts: A three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering or a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Electrical Discipline Posts: A three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute or university along with an Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency. Alternatively, a degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or institute, with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in repairs, overhauling, and maintenance of HT/LT systems, installations, machinery, equipment, and related components.
• Industrial Engineering Posts: A degree in Industrial Engineering or a degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Production Engineering with a PG Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Mechanical Posts: A three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
