NEET Cut Off 2024 for MBBS BDS Government College
The NEET Exam took place on May 5, 2024, and the results were announced earlier than expected on June 4. However, students are now eagerly awaiting the NEET 2024 cut-off to determine if they have qualified. The NTA released the revised NEET 2024 cut-off along with updated scorecards on July 26, 2024. Factors Determining NEET Cut Off 2024

Additionally, the availability of seats in MBBS/BDS courses at both national and state levels will be considered. The authorities will also take an average marks scored by students in the exam, which will help in determining the cut-off for candidates.
NEET Cut Off Tie-Breaking Method
In the NEET 2024 cut-off, tie-breakers are crucial in determining candidates’ ranks.
- If two students score the same marks in biology (botany and zoology), the one with higher marks in physics will be ranked higher.
- Additionally, if a candidate scores higher in all subjects compared to another who has the highest marks in biology, they will receive a better rank. Candidates who achieve full marks in all subjects will secure the top rank in the exam.

NEET Cut Off 2024 Minimum Marks
Candidates in each category must achieve the minimum qualifying marks specific to their category to advance in the admission process:
- General category candidates need a minimum cut-off mark of 164.
- Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates need a minimum cut-off mark of 129.
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates need a minimum cut-off mark of 129.
- Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates need a minimum cut-off mark of 128.
- General-PH candidates need a minimum cut-off mark of 145.
- SC/ST/OBC-PH candidates need a minimum cut-off mark of 135.
The qualified candidates should note that they must complete the necessary formalities with the respective Counselling Authorities, such as the DGHS and the Medical Education Directorates of States, for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
