Canara Bank Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

For the Internal Ombudsman post, candidates must be retired or serving officers with a rank equivalent to General Manager or similar from another bank, Financial Sector Regulatory Body, NBSP, NBFC, or CIC. Applicants should not have prior or current employment with Canara Bank or any of its affiliates. They must have a minimum of seven years of experience in areas such as banking, non-banking finance regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems, credit information, or consumer protection.

For the Deputy Internal Ombudsman post, candidates must be retired or serving officers with a rank of at least Deputy General Manager from another bank, Financial Sector Regulatory Body, NBSP, NBFC, or CIC, and must possess the required skills for the position. Like the Internal Ombudsman, candidates should not have previous or current affiliations with Canara Bank or its related entities. The candidate should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in fields such as banking, non-banking finance regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems, credit information, or consumer protection.
