One of the most common words used in our country is ’employment’ as it is the most important concern of our students. However, the word employment is sometimes interchangeably used with the term employability. We may think it to be the same but there are differences, and students and job aspirants must be aware of it.
There’s no doubt that securing employment is a major concern for all students. While some will successfully enter government sectors, many others will face challenges in the private job market or in launching business ventures. Job opportunities often differ for males and females. Although we know that only a few candidates will succeed in getting into the government sector, the majority still aspire to these roles. The term “employment” is commonly used by final-year students and job seekers.
