- RRB ALP CBT 1 Cut-Off: To qualify for CBT 2, candidates must secure the required cut-off marks in CBT 1. However, the marks obtained in this stage will not be considered for the final merit list as this is only a screening round.
- RRB ALP CBT 2 Cut-Off: Shortlisting for this stage is based on RRB-wise and category-wise normalized marks from CBT 1. The number of candidates shortlisted will be 15 times the number of vacancies.
- RRB CBAT Cut-Off: The Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is qualifying in nature. All candidates, regardless of category, must achieve a minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery separately to qualify. The final merit list is prepared from among the candidates who clear the CBAT, with 70% weightage given to Part A of CBT 2 and 30% to CBAT scores.

Factors Affecting RRB ALP Cut-Off 2024
Several factors influence the determination of cutoff marks for various categories in the RRB ALP exam. The key factors are as follows:
- Number of Applicants: The total number of candidates appearing for the exam significantly affects the cutoff. Fewer test-takers result in lower competition and lower cut-off marks.
- Number of Vacancies: The availability of vacancies plays a vital role. Higher vacancies typically lead to lower cutoff marks, whereas fewer vacancies result in higher cut-off marks.
- Difficulty Level: The nature of the questions in the RRB ALP exam also impacts the cutoff. If the exam is more challenging, the cutoff marks tend to be higher, and if it’s easier, the cutoff may be lower.
- Candidate Performance: The overall performance of candidates in the exam is another crucial factor. If a large number of candidates achieve high scores, the cutoff marks are likely to increase.
