GDS 2nd Merit List 2024 Date
India Post will soon release the second merit list of the Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2024. Earlier, India Post released the first merit for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) vacant posts. However, the first merit lists of Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir are yet to be released due to assembly elections. Now, India Post will release the second merit list of candidates. The second merit list will be uploaded in the 2nd week of September 2024 on the official website of India Post indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

How to Check Post Office GDS 2nd Merit List 2024 Online?
Candidates can access the second merit list on the official India Post GDS website once it’s released. Follow these steps to check the result and merit list:
- Visit the official Gramin Dak Sevak website: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- Navigate to the ‘Candidate’s Corner’ section to find the GDS 2nd Merit List.
- Click on the option titled ‘GDS Online Engagement Schedule-2024 Shortlisted Candidates’.
- Select your respective state and postal circles.
- A PDF file with the names of shortlisted candidates for the second list will open.
- Use the Ctrl+F function to search for your name by entering your registration number, then click on ‘Search’.
- Look for your name or registration number in the merit list.
What Next After Post Office GDS 2nd Merit List 2024
Once the India Post GDS second merit list is announced, all shortlisted candidates will receive an SMS notification on their mobile phones. They will then be invited to proceed with the document verification process. Shortlisted candidates must bring all original documents for the verification round.
Shortlisted candidates have 15 days to submit their documents. Failure to complete the document verification within this period will result in disqualification from the selection process. The following documents are required during the verification process:
