India Post has released the Karnataka GDS Result 2024 for candidates who applied for the 1940 Gramin Dak Sevak vacancies. The Karnataka GDS 3rd Merit List 2024 will be published on the official portal of the Karnataka Postal Circle. Provisionally selected candidates will receive SMS notifications and must complete the document verification process to secure their final appointment.
The application process for recruiting eligible candidates for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) post closed on August 5, 2024. Applicants can now check their Karnataka GDS results in the form of a merit list. The Karnataka Postal Circle GDS merit list will be based on the candidates’ SSC marks, with no additional weightage for higher education.

India Post Authority is expected to release the Karnataka GDS 3rd Merit List 2024 in the second week of October 2024 on the official website at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Candidates who successfully applied for the 1940 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) vacancies in the Karnataka Circle through the India Post GDS Bharti 2024 can now download the Karnataka GDS Merit List 2024.

Steps to Check Karnataka GDS 3rd Merit List 2024
Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) can now check their status on the official portal. To make the process easier, follow these steps to download the merit list:
- Visit the Gramin Dak Sevak Online Engagement portal at indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the “GDS Results” tab.
- Select the “Karnataka Postal Circle” link from the list.
- Click the respective result link to download the Karnataka GDS merit list.
- Open the GDS Result PDF and search for your name in the list.

Karnataka Circle GDS Document Verification Procedure
Candidates name listed in the merit list will be provisionally selected. Final selection will occur after successful completion of the Document Verification process. According to the GDS selection procedure, once the merit list is announced, shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of their original documents and certificates.
All shortlisted candidates must report to the designated centers with both the original and photocopies of all required documents for verification. The final appointment will be confirmed only after verifying the authenticity of the submitted documents and certificates. Candidates must ensure they have all necessary documents with them during the verification. The required documents include:
- SSC/High School/Class 10th mark sheet
- SSC certificate
- Date of Birth certificate (if not mentioned in the SSC certificate)
- Computer certificate (can be submitted after appointment)
- Community/caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Passport-sized photographs (matching those in the application form)
- Any other relevant documents prescribed by the recruiting authority.
